i really like this film. the fact that the music is jarring for people is probably a good thing in my humble opinion as it sparks conversation about WHY we include certain elements to create a film. Why must we always go for the classic hollywood cinema narrative?! Perhaps the music is perfect and infact could be made more use of, paid more attention to for individual cuts instead of just as a tool for the mood overall?
This is quite good. Especially fond of the quick cuts towards the end.

Very cunning use of soundtrack..
The music is jarring and takes over, but as Motuv says the music is a big part of the mood!
It's interesting to see the scenes everybody uses in their takes and the scenes that get used by one or two people

I have to say I am impressed. I do agree with skettalee the music is jarring and takes over, but I get this as the point of the film, there is a definite transition right around the middle where you pay close attention to the escalators where 'jarring' in effect is exactly what you convey, the hum drum bussle of everyday in a modern noise riddled world. I like that you don't just focus on her, I think a lot of these submitions will end up being wholly focused on her story and a lot of good may come from those but the fact that you gave her in effect 'neighbors' by showing all the people around her over and over pays close attention to the whole idea behind stray cinema- the ending especially where she tosses and turns and does so without her guitar- I dig it.
