We let our community decide when our screening event will be. The New-Zealand screening event will be held on the 23rd of September 2008, six months from the date that 30 film submissions were received onto our website.
Each year the screening event is held in the same city that the footage originates from, this time the location is Christchurch, New Zealand.
This screening is very important to Stray Cinema, as it navigates our film experiment out of the online digital world, and into the 'real world'.
This event will involve the screening of the top five film submissions (voted by our online community) coupled with VJs mixing the raw footage to live music. It will engage the online community, by webcasting footage from the event live onto this page, along with live web-chat, vodcasting and blogging.
