Stray Cinema update
Well it's been all go since we received our 30th film submission, and set a date for our screening event. Planning is starting to take place, and there is some exciting ideas floating around the Stray Cinema space.
Reaching 30 film submissions was a huge feat for us, and in all honesty we didn't think we would reach this day so soon. The Stray Cinema project relies on its community to participate and contribute to the project, and without them we wouldn't exist. When we first launched this website, we found it was quite easy to attract people here for a quick peek at what we were doing. However, we soon realised that wasn't enough, we needed people to stay on our website for longer, to come back and ultimately to participate and contribute in some way. At Stray Cinema we are just facilitators of a creative process.
Our community page is one of the most popular pages on our website, and here we list the different ways people can contribute to our project (asides from the obvious - make a film submission). Perhaps there are other ways you feel you can contribute? We are open to that too...
Our main focus right now is drawing people into the site to vote and comment on the film submissions, so please let us know if you have any ideas on how to go about this.
Finally, thanks for your ongoing support. You made this happen, and that's exciting.
